In the Spokane Region, defending national champion Stanford will be the top seed after accumulating a 28-3 record, including defeating Utah in the Pac 12 Tournament final. The Spokane Region will also feature No. 2 seed Texas — which beat Stanford earlier this season followed by No. 3 seed LSU and No. 4 seed Maryland. Those four schools will serve as the hosts for the first two rounds before the four teams that emerge from this opening weekend meet in Spokane, Wash. at the Spokane Arena for the regional fnals.
